The Rhubarb Online Gallery is an exhibition of work collected at each Rhubarb-Rhubarb International Portfolio Event – where all attendants are given the opportunity to display an image of their choice from their portfolio.
The selection shows the range of work at Rhubarb and who has attended the event in the last few years. Enjoy browsing through the selection – you may find work and names that you recognise as image-makers careers flourish and grow.
With the 2008 Festival about to begin, please take the time to check out the Gallery for a retrospective of some of the images that were presented for review at previous portfolio events.
This has proved a useful resource for reviewers who may recall a series of work they saw at the review but can’t remember the artist’s name. One such example resulted in a two page spread in the BJP in 2007, for Phil Brookes, whose work was seen by Simon Bainbridge, BJP Editor, in 2005!
