'Cultivate' - Essential Growth for Photography Graduates

Rhubarb-Rhubarb have teamed up with the London College of Communication to bring graduates the advice and guidance to help them increase opportunities and gain fundamental knowledge to survive in the image world today.

This course was designed in a direct response to discoveries made by Rhubarb in the summer of 2007, and the increasing number of photographers from all over the country who contact Rhubarb wanting to come on our training and mentoring courses. We can only offer our services to West Midlands-based photographers at present.

All of the subjects covered in the seminars are questions that are continually posed to us throughout the year by information hungry image-makers, eager to move forward their careers. The seminars will be accompanied with ever popular and requested portfolio sessions, with sector specific reviewers.

We have sourced some of the leading photography specialists in the world today, to hopefully bring you the answers you are looking for.

The portfolio sessions will work in the same unique way the Rhubarb-Rhubarb International Festival of The Image sessions are sold and conducted .You will have 3 reviews.

All the reviewers and speakers are briefed, so that they can give you the most suitable advice for you at the emerging stage of your career.

You will be able to view 'biogs' and 'wants to see' of contracted reviewers.

This is a pilot scheme for both Rhubarb and the LCC, and if successful with continue. We have kept spaces limited to 130 for seminars and only 60 for the portfolio review at this time, but will grow for future events if there is a further demand. Please don't be too disappointed if you miss out on portfolio sessions. You will still be able come to the seminars, capacity permitting.

Please note that only photographers that come to all seminars will be able to enrol for the portfolio sessions.

We have also kept prices to a minimum, and think that they are extremely competitive rates. This has only been achieved through the commitment and dedication of the speakers, reviewers, and team members of Rhubarb and the LCC.

Eligibility for the event is strict. Terms & Conditions must be adhered to.

Please also take time to read all the information you will need to know and prepare yourself for the event. This is listed in the left hand navigation bar and sub-sections of each event.
