We would like to advise all photographers booking ‘cultivate’ the portfolio day that we take great care to contract reviewers who will fulfill that contract by attending the festival and reviewing responsibly. However, in the event that reviewers are unable to attend because of urgent family issues, usually at the last minute, which is the only reason they are exempt from their contractual liabilities, Rhubarb-Rhubarb reserves the right to reprogram bookings responsibly, without conferring with photographers - due to lack of time, and will not refund monies for individual portfolio slots.

If enough notice is given to Rhubarb, we will of course inform you and let you know what options are available to you. In most cases the cancelled reviewer will provide a suitable replacement.

No refunds are available for this event .This includes photographers who choose not turn up to the event on the day.

Given the current nature of the political climate, should reviewers not attend due to war, acts of terrorism, riot, revolution, severe weather conditions, natural disasters or any similar event, for which we are not liable, every effort will be made to cover their sessions. All fees are non refundable and we ask that photographers understand that they travel to the event at their own risk.
